Bathed in glorious sunshine, it enjoys a sublime subtropical climate with average temperatures ranging between 27 degrees C and 35 degrees C. It's also home to miles and miles of sandy beaches and flourishing resorts. Cancun is far and away the most popular, with its world-famous shoreline strip of luxury hotels, shopping malls and exuberant bars. To the south lies the Mayan Riviera where you can check out the delights of Playa del Carmen and Playacar.
