Mlini is a tiny, dreamy hamlet, near to the medieval city of Dubrovnik and the pretty town of Cavtat. The name of the hamlet is derived from the Croatian word for mill - set up here to harness the local springs and gushing stream. Surrounded by stunning mountains, the village consists of ancient stone houses, pine, cypress, orange and lemon trees, colourful flower gardens, a picturesque harbour and a long promenade boasting a few shops, restaurants and bars. Regular bus and boat services operate from the resort of Mlini to Dubrovnik.
