Situated on the southeast coast of the island, just south of Ibiza Town, Figueretas is a liberal town that attracts families, mixed and same-sex couples alike. The resort offers a variety of restaurants and bars for all tastes and there's the Club Fiestaland complex in nearby Playa d'en Bossa for a touch of excitement.
Figueretas has a selection of good local restaurants serving international and traditional cuisine. Seafood restaurants serving the catch of the day are popular. Ibiza Town is close by for a little more choice.
Figueretas has a sandy, crescent-shaped beach with a palm-fringed promenade, perfect for a romantic evening stroll. If you are a hardcore sun worshipper, be sure to visit the beach at Playa d'en Bossa; this huge expanse of golden sands is easily accessible with regular buses from Figueretas.
There are a few supermarkets and souvenir shops selling fashion, and sports goods, but for a more impressive selection Ibiza Town is within easy reach, making Figueretas a perfect base to experience all the shopping entertainment the island capital has to offer. Some noise may be heard from the nearby airport.
