Caimari

Approximately 45 minutes inland from capital Palma, Caimari is situated in the foothills of the stunning Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. Blessed with breathtaking scenery, Caimari offers a peaceful ambience in a beautiful part of Majorca.

Caimari is set away from coastal crowds, blissfully untouched by the main tourist route, offering all the best of rural Majorca. Halfway between the famous monastery of Luc and the town of Inca, Caimari is perfect for a relaxing and historical holiday. Caimari offers fantastic walking opportunities; the nearby mountain range is a hiker's paradise, while Inca's wonderful town market is just a short distance from Caimari.

Caimari offers visitors a peaceful setting to relax and explore. For centuries, Caimari has been known for the cultivation of olives. Wander down Caimari's tranquil streets and enjoy the stunning architecture, demonstrating Caimari's Islamic and Spanish origins. There is a wonderful collection of sights close to Caimari, including ruins of the Castle of Alaro and the picturesque villages of Moscari and Binibona.

Although a short distance from the coast, Caimari has several nearby beaches. Alcudia's beach is highly popular, while Formentor, a few kilometres from Caimari, offers a pine-backed sandy treat. For evening entertainment and nightlife, Caimari offers little - bustling Alcudia however, a few kilometres from Caimari, offers a lively array of pubs, bars and discos.
